Join us for a special one-day retreat and pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion, the only Church-approved Marian apparition site in the United States.
This is more than a pilgrimage—it’s a day of retreat and renewal, designed to nourish your soul and deepen your walk with the Lord. Set against the peaceful backdrop of the sacred grounds where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in 1859, this retreat offers a unique opportunity to step away from the noise of daily life and enter into a place of prayer, healing, and grace.
Led by Fr. Jerome Koutnik, the day will feature a special retreat conference on prayer, offering practical tools and spiritual insight to help you grow in intimacy with God. You’ll also participate in Holy Mass, Confession, and Adoration, and enjoy time to tour the shrine with a historical talk on the apparition. Take time to walk the serene and holy grounds where so many pilgrims have experienced profound peace and healing.
Come experience the quiet strength of Our Lady’s presence, the richness of her message, and a day set apart to encounter Christ more deeply.
We’ll begin our pilgrimage early with a 6:30 a.m. departure from St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntley, traveling north through the breathtaking colors of Wisconsin’s fall season. Along the way, Fr. Jerome Koutnik will lead us in prayer, reflection, and spiritual insights to prepare our hearts for the day ahead.
Upon arrival at the only Church-approved Marian apparition site in the United States, we’ll spend the day in retreat. The schedule includes Holy Mass, Confession, Adoration, and a powerful conference on prayer led by Fr. Jerome. There will also be time for personal prayer and reflection.
Enjoy a guided historical tour of the shrine and peaceful time to walk the grounds and soak in the grace of this sacred place. We’ll then travel back to Huntley, arriving around 6:00 p.m., renewed in faith and deeply touched by Our Lady’s message and presence.
